India U19 opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi displayed his fearless batting once again, this time in Australia, cracking 38 runs from 22 deliveries in the opening Youth ODI at Ian Healy Oval. His explosive cameo set the tone for India’s commanding seven-wicket win on Sunday.

The 14-year-old right-hander struck seven boundaries and one six, racing to a strike rate of 172.73. His aggressive start provided India with quick runs during the chase and drew admiration from across the cricketing world. Australia’s Struggles Despite James’ Knock
Earlier, Australia managed 225 for nine after being rattled by early wickets. They were in deep trouble at 35 for four before John James rescued the innings with a gritty 77. His resistance gave some stability, but India’s bowlers continued applying pressure. Tom Hogan scored 41 and Steven Hogan added 39, though both found runs hard to come by.
