India Lose at Lord’s, Legends React After Test Defeat
India suffered a narrow 22-run loss against England on Day 5 of the third Test match at Lord’s. Chasing 193 runs, India were bowled out for 170 despite a solid effort by Ravindra Jadeja, who remained unbeaten on 61. He ran out of partners in the end as wickets kept falling, and the lower order failed to hold on.

Sachin Tendulkar also shared his thoughts, praising the team’s spirit and England’s execution under pressure. “So near, yet so far. Jadeja, Bumrah, and Siraj fought all the way. Well tried, Team India. England played well to keep the pressure on and got the result they wanted,” he wrote.
Yuvraj Singh applauded the team for not giving up despite the loss. “Not the result we wanted, but this match will be remembered for the fight we showed. Jadeja and Siraj stood tall in a pressure cooker situation. A performance that demands respect – not just for the skill, but for the mindset,” he posted.
