Shami’s Wife Hasin Jahan Posts Cryptic Instagram Message
Indian pacer Mohammed Shami’s estranged wife Hasin Jahan has sparked attention with a cryptic social media post, shortly after the cricketer opened up about his personal life in a recent interview.
Jahan, who has been in a long legal battle with Shami since 2018, claimed repeated attempts were being made to “scare” and “ruin” her. She stressed that she would never bow down to such pressures.
“Pagal awara kutto se darna hota mujhe, to 2018 me hi dar jaati. Jitna chahe jor lagale mujhe darane ki, jhukane ki, barbad karne ki, mai Allah ke karam se aur mazboot aur mazboot bante jaungi inshallah,” she wrote on Instagram, hinting at those trying to weaken her resolve.
The post came hours after Shami, in a candid interview, insisted he did not want to revisit the past.
“Leave that. I never regret the past. What’s gone is gone. I don’t want to blame anyone, including myself. I want to focus on my cricket. I don’t need these controversies,” the 34-year-old pacer said.
A Public Fallout Since 2018
Mohammed Shami and Jahan married in 2014 but began living separately in 2018. That year, Jahan filed an FIR accusing Shami and his family of domestic violence and match-fixing. Their disputes have often played out in the public eye.
Earlier this month, Jahan alleged that Shami was a “womaniser” and accused him of neglecting their daughter’s education while spending on his girlfriends.
Shami Focuses on Cricket Amid Personal Disputes
The India speedster, recovering from injury, made it clear he wanted to stay away from controversies.
“That’s your job to investigate. Why do you want to hang us to death? Look at the other side as well. I focus on cricket, not controversies,” Shami remarked when asked about personal disputes among cricketers.
With Jahan’s latest post, the off-field tensions between the two have once again come into focus, even as Shami prepares for his return to competitive cricket.
